Objectives of the Course

This course is to learn basic concepts of pharmacology, interactions and harmful effects of drugs in their body, pharmacovigilance, effects on human body systems.

1 Know pharmaceutical forms and routes of administration.
2 They should know the pharmacokinetic properties of drugs and their mechanisms of action.
3 Factors that alter the effect of drugs and interactions between drugs are conceived.

5 Summarizes the pharmacodynamic properties of analgesic and anti-inflammatory drugs.

Course Contents

Introduction to pharmacology, pharmaceutical forms, routes of application and rational use of drugs with dose calculation, pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics of drugs drugs (Absorption, metabolism, distribution and excretion of drugs, passage of drugs through membranes and transport events), antibiotics and analgesics, endocrine system drugs, gastrointestinal system drugs, urinary system drugs.
