Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to define the health problems of the society, to analyze the environmental, social and behavioral factors affecting these health problems, to gain knowledge and skills for the protection and development of individual family and community health, and health education practices.

Course Contents
This course; basic health services, public health policies, health protection and development, specific roles and functions of the public health nurse's main areas of application (mother and child health, school health, occupational health, elderly health, mental health and home care, environmental health, infection control) know, practice and internship program, use the problem solving skills effectively in cases requiring nursing care, gain the ability to see the patient as a physical, psychological and social whole, use the problem solving skills effectively in cases requiring nursing care in practice and internship program, The ability to see as a psychological and social whole.
