Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is; to teach the student the standards in the operating rooms, the duties, authorities and responsibilities of the operating room team and scrub and circular nurse, and all the current perioperative practices.

It includes basic concepts related to the operating room, principles of patient care in the operating room, necessary safety precautions in the operating room, infection control methods in the operating room, and basic knowledge of instruments and materials used in the operating room.
