Objectives of the Course

To inform students about the concept, control and development of food quality, to make students aware of the quality standards and legal regulations related to food quality control methods and food legislation and to make them comment on the subject.

1 İnternalize the nation of food control, preservation and hygiene.
2 Understands national and international standards in food industry.
3 Explain the quality elements in foods.
4 Understands the principles of regulations regarding the processing, transportation and storage of foods.
5 Adopts the Turkish Food Codex and the processes effective in its creation.
6 Reviews food safety management systems and HACCP.
7 Evaluates the regulations and communiqués of the Turkish Food Codex.
