Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to gain knowledge and skills about the role and responsibilities of the operating room nurse in line with the evidence-based resources, AORN standards and current guidelines, patient care management in the operating room, preparation of the operating room environment, current practices in the operating room, patient and employee safety, ethical principles and legal processes.

Basic concepts of operating room nursing, patient care before and after the operating room, prevention of complications, team approach and intensive care covers information and applications.
