Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to explain the importance of scientific research in health, define basic concepts and principles in research; to enable students to gain knowledge and skills in research methods which he/she can use in master's thesis and other scientific research, literature review, selection of research topic, critical article reading, data collection and analysis methods, interpreting and share the results, ethical issues.

This course covers the basic concepts of science, scientific research, scientific research process, research designs, sample selection methods, data collection methods and tools, validity and reliability in scientific research, preparation of research report, scientific research and ethics.
