Objectives of the Course
Objectives of this course are to introduce basic knowledge for conducting health assessment of individuals and help students developing skills and attitudes for assessing all dimensions of health and human body’s responses associated with health disorders.

Course Contents
This course covers the basic concepts for health assessment, interviewing process and obtaining history and practices of physical examination. The course includes knowledge and practices for obtaining a health history, principles of physical examination, vital signs, pain assessment, assessment and physical examination of the body systems, physical examination of head and neck, skin, hair and nails and breast examination techniques.
