Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to teach students the principles of dialysis treatment within the framework of the duties, authorities, and responsibilities of a dialysis nurse. It aims to teach nursing care and patient monitoring related to dialysis treatment complications.

Course Contents
The course include of duties, authorities, and responsibilities of a dialysis nurse, principles of hemodialysis, initiation of dialysis therapy, the dialysis prescription and water treatment equipment for in-center hemodialysis, common clinical problems during hemodialysis, principles and metabolic effects of peritoneal dialysis, the challenges of blood pressure control, nutritional management, medication management in dialysis patients.
