5 Interprets the findings obtained by performing physical examination of the individual within the scope of health diagnosis.
6 Uses health history taking and physical diagnosis skills in nursing care.

Course Contents

This course consists of applications that improve health assessment, interview, history taking process and physical examination process skills. This course includes information and applications about taking health history, physical examination anddiagnosis, vital signs, pain diagnosis, evaluation of body systems, body examination, head and neck examination, skin, hair and nails and breast examination.

4 Assessment of the eyes
5 Assessment of the ear, nose, mouth, and throat
6 Assessment of the thorax and lungs
7 Midterm exam week
8 Midterm exam week
9 Assessment of the breasts and axillae
10 Assessment of heart and neck vessels
11 Assessment of peripheral vascular system
12 Abdominal assessment
13 Assessment of the neurological system
14 Assessment of the neurological system
