Objectives of the Course

To give information about the general characteristics of the microorganisms that cause disease in humans, their relationships with people and with each other.

Introduction to microbiology, classification of microorganisms, bacterial cell structure, production of microorganisms and staining methods, normal flora, disease formation of microorganisms, immune system, antibiotics, disinfection, antisepsis, sterilization.
