Objectives of the Course

To gain knowledge about the effects, application principles and techniques of different physiotherapy approaches applied to people with pelvic floor dysfunction, and the skills to plan and implement the appropriate treatment program.

Learning Outcomes

1 The student who completes this course will have knowledge and skills in physiotherapy rehabilitation of pelvic floor dysfunction.
2 1. Can follow conceptual and clinical scientific developments regarding basic measurement, evaluation and treatment techniques specific to physiotherapy and rehabilitation, and uses the deep and systematic knowledge gained in different fields of physiotherapy and rehabilitation in her professional and academic studies.
3 By using theoretical and applied concepts and principles in the field of physiotherapy and rehabilitation, they evaluate and integrate information from different disciplines with a critical approach, create new information, and achieve problem solving and clinical decision-making skills.
4 Identifies learning needs and goals, continues lifelong learning, and contributes to quality improvement, vocational training and promotion programs.
5 It contributes to public health and health policies, and raises awareness of individuals, families and society about education, preventive and rehabilitative approaches.

8 Week 8 Physiotherapy and rehabilitation in pelvic organ prolapse
9 Week 9 Physiotherapy and rehabilitation in fecal incontinence
10 Week 10 Physiotherapy and rehabilitation in pelvic pain
11 Week 11 Physiotherapy and rehabilitation in sexual dysfunction
