It is aimed to give some information about basic principles of microbiology, definition and classification of microorganisms, microanatomic structure and growth of bacteria, general properties of the pathogens (bacteria, virus, fungi and parasites) for human, interactions between human and microorganisms, transmission of pathogenic microorganisms to human and prevention, sterilization, disinfection and antisepsis in terms of the scope of the course.
Lecturer Simge ARKAN
1 | Have information about terms in microbiology, the microanatomic structure, growth and environmental factors affecting the growth of microorganisms. |
2 | Explain the diagnostic methods of infectious diseases. |
3 | Have knowledge about the general properties and transmission of the pathogenic microorganisms (bacteria, virus, fungi and parasites) for human and prevention. |
4 | Have knowledge about general properties, infections, clinical findings, diagnosis and prevention of parasites that cause human disease. |
5 | Have knowledge about the differences of sterilization, disinfection and antisepsis. |
