Objectives of the Course

The purpose of this course, putting out an alternative to the health sector which has become one of the key sectors in the economy to ensure efficiency and contributing availability of this alternative methods that provide low cost high benefit level.

Learning Outcomes

1 Defines the basic concepts of health economics and approaches. Knows the methods of health financing in Turkey also in the world, and economic factors affecting the health sector and compares them with each other
2 Determines the optimalproduct/service combinations for the production of health services.
3 Gains competence in producing effective and efficient use of scarce resources in health care and prevents waste.
4 Analyzes and interprets the tradeoffs and profit-time balance in the production of health services.
5 -Has the ability to contribute solving economic problems in health care activities.
